Not much NBA News has come up in the past few days, the only thing that came up was how Gilbert Arenas took his family to the Orange County Fair and won tons of stuffed animals through the basketball hoop games, and was banned from the fair for about 24 hours. Here is a picture:
Arenas also said that LeBron would never be better than Jordan because he is not the first option, not a good 1 on 1 player and is more like a Train than a Cheetah. Most people applauded him for a good analysis, and it indeed is pretty good, but that can't compare to Skip Bayless who said that Jordan would beat LeBron 1 on 1 right now, not sure about that.
I was in Europe on vacationa the last 2 weeks and I couldn't write anything on here because half the time we have no wifi and we did not bring a computer at all.
But many things have happened, free agency, Summer League and much more good stuff. So I made a Top 5 list of things that happened in these two weeks I was gone.
1. JIMMY BUTLER RESIGNED WITH THE BULLS
Yup, we got him, thank God, many teams were pursuing him after his breakthrough season, which included a spot in the All-Star game, a cover on Sports Illustrated, stories in well-known magazines about him, a spot in GQ Magazine, and Regular Season and Playoff dominance. He confirmed Resigning with an Instagram post that said "...Windy city skyline...aka home..." and a pic of Chicago.
2. Jordan Clarkson puts up a poster
Mizzou Homie, now Laker, Jordan Clarkson put on a show at the summer league, which included a posterization on Jack Cooley(?). He's making us in Missouri proud.
3. Kelly Oubre Summer
Rookie Kelly Oubre may be the most surprising player of the draft because he wasn't that high of a pick and is doing amazing for the Wizards, a steal in the draft. He dropped 30 points on 9-14 shooting yeterday in a win over Denver, he also added 4 rebounds to lead the Wizards over the Nuggets. He will come in very handy to the Wizards who need an extra punch on their team.
4.Jaden Newman
10 year old Jaden Newman wants to be first first girl in NBA (?) Don't know why she didn't say WNBA, maybe because she's only 10 but my sister is 10 and is smarter than that. Uhh... okay I guess, she averaged like 30 points per game against other 10 year olds. Why does she want to be the first woman to go to the NBA when there is already a league for Women. I don't want to hurt her feelings but that will never happen unless the WNBA somehow ends (Probably not) and Women have to go to the NBA. That will probably not happen either due to the increased level of physicality in the NBA, where a lot of dudes can dunk.
