Jahlil Okafor was drafted 3rd by the lowly Philadelphia 76ers last summer, out of Duke. Since he was drafted he has been averaging 18.0 PPG, 7.9 RPG, and 1.7 BPG, great numbers for a rookie, one who was thought to be the 3rd most NBA ready player on draft day. Okafor has been playing hard but his life has been lousy off the court, who could blame him? The 76ers are 0-17, haven't won a single game in around 8 months, and he isn't happy about spending his night life in Philly. Weeks ago, back in October, he was thought to have had a gun pointed at him by a heckler after he started to verbally jab Okafor, saying "The 76ers suck and you guys are all losers. You'll never win a game." The heckler was obviously stating facts based on what we have seen from the Sixers so far this season. I'm guessing that the heckler was probably a pissed-off Sixers fan, or a drunk Sixers fan. After Okafor heard his comments and took to confront the heckler. The security and the people in that area quickly shut down the scuffle the heckler, but not before Okafor and the man got into it and Okafor pushed him to the ground and KO'd him, as seen in the TMZ video below...
It is not known whether this was the same altercation, because there was a similar report filed saying that Jahlil pushed the heckler down after a similar scuffle, this might be that video. Because ESPN titled their post-
'Report:Jahlil Okafor had gun pointed at him in Oct. altercation with heckler'
We have to assume that he had a gun pointed at him, although there is no evidence of that in the video or in the evidence recovered by witnesses of the scuffle, so I don't know why ESPN titled their post that, because there is no further reports of the gun pointing in the article.
Jahlil is now facing more heat for reckless driving, while driving in a car going 108 MPH on a bridge in Philly. A bridge in Philly said to be reckless driving if you were driving as low as 40 MPH in that zone. If the Sixers were any other franchise in the League, Jahlil would be disciplined, but the Sixers are doing so bad that they need Okafor to win a game, and with their schedule as it is, he better show up and whip the Grizzlies to get the win. Then he will be forgiven.

Brain Barf #5 11-25-15
Jimmy Buckets-
If there was any player in the league that deserved more attention, it was Jimmy Butler, the Bulls player that I rave about so often, on his skills on getting to the bucket, his good shooting, and his ability to shoot clutch shots. So as the season rolls on, and the attention given to Butler rises, Butler took it, and kept doing his thing. So it was cool when he sank this killer shot last night against the Trailblazers.
Wow. That's cool to see because you definitely see it happen multiple times during the season, but it just provides more significance because a player like Butler made it, I hope he uses all this attention given to him to get even better and help my Bulls go farther in the Playoffs. Also props to the Blazers fans for applauding him for that shot. Those are some great, committed basketball fans.
Warriors-
Everyone paying attention to sports knows what the Warriors are doing right now. Whether its comparisons to teams in different sports, or the amount of screen time ESPN gives it everyday, it's truly amazing that we are all able to watch one of the best teams ever put together. When they obliterated the Lakers yesterday, they made their mark in the history books with the best record to ever start out a season in the league, at 16-0. Steph Curry is shooting ELEVEN 3-pointers per game, and no one cares because there is a higher chance of a shark falling through the ceiling and eating Andrew Bogut than him missing that shot. Steph Curry is still the 2nd best player in the league, but he is quickly breaking that wall around King James. Curry is averaging 32.1 PPG, 5.9 APG and 5.1 RPG, which are LeBron James 'in-his-prime, Playoff edition' type numbers. The only downside to the immense success the Warriors are getting as they win game over game, is the amount of bandwagon fans jumping on to the Warriors high speed Bugatti-like bandwagon. It's okay if you are a bandwagoner and you admit that you are a bandwagoner, because why not? You can be a fan of the best team if you want to, it's fun. But if you are a bandwagoner and say that you have been a Warriors fan from the Baron Davis days, then just go away.
The Warriors beat the Lakers 111-77.
Curry had 24 pts and 9 ast. Swaggy P had 7 pts and 1 ast.
Kobe-
Kobe Bryant has been struggling very hard. He is becoming older and older every game while also missing more and more 3-pointers. He scored 4 pts against the Warriors and shot 1-17 on FG. Those are some horrible numbers. On ESPN today Dan LeBatard or Bomani Jones mentioned that Curry could miss his next 200 3-pointers, and his 3PT % would still be better than Kobe's. Kobe is the problem the Lakers are having to put up with, even Swaggy P is talking about it saying "We need to share the ball more" obviously pointing at Kobe, who would rather take the long 3 than pass it to an open Julius Randle or Jordan Clarkson. Amidst all of this, Kobe is getting whatever he wants from the head coach, and his once teammate, Byron Scott, while also getting paid more than every other player on his team. At this point the Lakers need to stay focused on rebuilding, if not that then who knows ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.

3 Reasons why you should love the Timberwolves
1. Wiggins-
This guy does it all, he is the best player on the team and could be the next Jordan, okay, maybe that's a way too far but still, he can make plays and can drive in the lane very well. He is also very athletic and lanky so he can cause defensive havoc. He's also 20 years old.
2. Garnett is still playing-
One of the GOAT's in basketball and in court dominance is back at home for his final seasons, and he is still finding minutes to school young ones showing that you can't teach an old dog new tricks, but the tricks he already knows can be used in new ways, even if he's mostly wildly swinging his towel from the bench.
3. KARL-ANTHONY
Karl-Anthony Towns was the best draft decsion the Timberwolves could've ever made, he is a great post-player, already one of the best in the league, he also can rebound very well. He is the human double-double averaging 16.4 PPG, and 10.4 REB, he is the youngest most NBA ready player since Andre Drummond and Anthony Davis 3 years ago.

Wiggins vs Jordan? NBA Recap 11-9-15
Minnesota Timberwolves vs Atlanta Hawks
Our boy Wiggins went off in this game, taking charge of the T'Wolves along with the help of Karl-Anthony Towns. Wiggins shot for 15-22, putting up 33 Pts, 5 Reb, 4 Ast, 1 Stl, 1 Blk, for the 'Wolves who are 4-2, better than many teams that were good last year like the Grizzlies, who are struggling early. They are just one of the young teams looking to revive their chances in the East, along with Detroit. Wiggins is getting better and better and is becoming comparable to a young Michael Jordan. MJ only played 18 games in the 85-86 season, which was his sophmore season (like Wiggins), averaged 22.7 PPG, and 2.9 APG through 18 games. Wiggins at 8 games is averaging 19.8 PPG and 1.7 APG, great numbers for a sophmore player who is at 20 years old, same age as Jordan. Wiggins shows the power he has in quick flashes during games, like this spin-move at 0:23
That was impressive and was a lot like what MJ did at 0:29 and at the start here
Wiggins has been averaging .402% in FG percentage this season, similar to MJ's .466% in the 85-86 season, except Wiggins is a year younger. Wiggins also suffered a disruption to the season, his coach, Flip Saunders, dying, is a huge disruption to a young player's development, but Jordan's injury trauma cut his season short in 85'. That may be less of a disruption than what Wiggins suffered but he is still putting up that stat-line on a daily basis. Wiggins can develop to be the frizzy-haired Canadian young Michael Jordan if he keeps the stats up and makes his teammates better when they play around him. The Wolves managed to beat the Hawks, who were carried by Jeff Teague with 24 Pts, 2 Reb, 9 Ast, 1 Stl, 3 Blk, the Hawks are still undefeated on the road, and are maintaining a great 7-2 record playing that new Atlanta style basketball.

NBA Recap 11-8-15
OKC Thunder vs Phoenix Suns
Before I saw this game, I was about to go on a rant about how Westbrook is better than Durant, I mean the guy can do everything well, and relentlessly. Westbrook is more consistent than Durant, he also drives with ease, and his crazy jumpers are starting to rattle in the bucket. Wetsbrook is a monster, a do-it-all player who can drop 40 on you with a dent in his face, and can triple-double you up 3+ games straight. Before this game I thought Durant was nothing to Westbrook, but Durant brought it, and carried his team with 32 Pts, 11 Reb, 4 Ast, 3 Stl. I really want the old Durant to come back, and in this game he showed glimpses of it, before his injury everyone saw that this guy could not miss, and could convert practically anything into a few points, anything.
Those were the days, the young Thunder looking to take over the League, now they have a chance to take it even farther, with everyone healthy they can get back to the Finals, I hope they do because Westbrook at Finals level would be beyond our comprehension on how the laws of motion work on a human being.

NBA Recap 11-7-15
Houston Rockets vs LA Clippers -
There was one defining question of the NBA last night, did Lil B the loving and caring Based God lift his curse on James Harden? No. Lil B said that Harden has been cursed indefinitely, and that the Based God would investigate the Rockets front office of the blatant stealing of the sacred Lil B cooking dance, that made its way onto Harden Bobble-heads, Gifs, NBA 2k16 MyPlayer celebration attributes, and WWE 2K16 (I don't know why a wrestler named Angelo took it, neither does Based God but he immediately got CURSED). While investigating the front office, Lil B has given some slack to Harden, letting him have a little success while our savior investigates the Rockets front office and there mean ways of making money off of Lil B's own original dance.
Anyways Harden exploded against the Clippers, putting up 46 Pts, 4 Reb, 2 Ast, 1 Stl in an evenly matched game, where the Rockets pulled off in a surge during the 3rd and 4th quarters. Blake Griffin heled his Clippers team out too, totaling 35 Pts, 11 Reb, 5 Ast, solidifying his place among the NBA's best (Top 15) and throwing out the rumor that he was just a dunker, now he is an offensive threat and still a great dunker. The Rockets used the power surge in the 3rd took take the game through the 4th and ultimately win the game.
Rockets: 109 Clippers: 105
Utah Jazz vs Memphis Grizzlies -
Utah has been on its game lately, a 4-2 start with the offensive prowess of Derrick Favors and the youth of their bench showing up with agility and newly found excitement. Derrick Favors notched 12 Pts, 16 Reb, and 3 Stl, a great performance, racking up 13 defensive rebounds. The downside to his game was the 4 TO's he had, showing the undisciplined side of Utah, as soon as the youth stays productive and the vet's remain solid, the Jazz have a nice future, hopefully one poised on making the Playoffs. Maybe the Jazz could be this year's 2014-15 Atlanta Hawks, a team who surprises everyone by placing at a higher-than-expected seed in the East.
Trey Burke also shined in this game with 24 Pts, 3 Reb, 1 Ast, 1 Stl, taking control of a game at 22 years of age while coming off the bench. This kid has the potential to be a young Derrick Rose if he gets the starting spot, agile and quick, but can also command his team when needed. Hopefully the Jazz organization continues to develop and work on his potential. The Griz were not on their game, going 6-19 from the 3-Point line and spazzing out with 14 TO's. Conley and Gasol were the only players that stuck out in this game, but not by much. The Griz are rusty at the start of the season, and still embarrassed of their 119-69 loss to the Warriors (50 POINTS?!?). Hopefully they grind their way to a better season, because you don't want to disappoint one of the Top-5 most energetic and loving fan bases in sports (According to me and ESPN).

NBA Recap 11-4-15
NBA Recap 11-4-15
Chicago Bulls vs. Charlotte Hornets-
Oh man, the Hornets destroyed the Bulls. Who knew the Bulls were so weak, they played absolutely no defense at all, allowing the Hornets to get to the basket easy, and when the Bulls don't play defense they tend to foul everyone and they sure fouled the Hornets a whole lot, a total of 22 out of 23 free-throws made by the Hornets. Also they had 5 players who made 2 or more 3 pointers, where did this lack of defense come from? Jeremy Lamb is making the plays for the Hornets currently and scored 20 Pts, and notched 4 Reb, 3 Ast, 2 Stl along with it. Lamb was that one Thunder player that was always on the bench but was brought out when Westbrook and Jackson were hurt, and showed some potential, but now he is leading a team, good for him. I stay pissed at my Bulls.
Hornets: 130 Bulls: 105
Indiana Pacers vs Detroit Pistons-
The Pistons are killing it. Andre Drummond has been carrying this team, and in this game he put up a great effort. He got 25 Pts, 29 Rebounds, 3 Stl, 1 Blk. Boy that's a lot of rebounds, some say he is the second coming of Dennis Rodman. Dennis Rodman would get 2 Pts and 27 Reb many times during the season, so he definitely did not score as much as Drummond, but Drummond is bulkier and more powerful, not as quick and fearless as Rodman. I do not exactly agree with this comparison, because Drummond is not near as cool as Rodman. Not NEARLY as cool.
The effort was not enough and the Pacers beat the Pistons 94-82.
Toronto Raptors vs Dallas Mavericks-
The Raptors are looking fresh, a 4-0 start to the season and it may go up to 5-0 tonight, if they beat the Thunder. Kyle Lowry is looking good, the driving PG notched 27 Pts, 5 Reb, 10 Ast, 3 Stl, 2 Blk against the Mavs, which is great because Toronto is a team that deserves to make it to the second round of the Playoffs again, and it would be great to see them get there this year with a healthy Lowry and DeMar DeRozan. The Mavs were carried by the ever trying Dirk Nowitzki, the greatest foreign NBA player of all time, the German Giraffe. He stacked up 18 Pts, 7 Reb, 2 Ast, 1 Stl, but hopefully the Mavs help the ol' guy a little.
