WEST, IT GETS TOUGH HERE:
1. Golden State Warriors VS 8. New Orleans Pelicans:
The Warriors are already one of the best single-season teams in NBA history, definitely in the top-20, at 67-15 (reg. season). With a balance of great players, a league top-3 in Steph Curry with 23.8 ppg, and 7.7 apg, he also has a magical ability to use mind-control while dribbling, seemingly touching the ball minimally yet dribbling through as slick as oil then hitting a 3 or a jumper. They also have Klay Thompson who has had the best game of the season, and the best quarter in NBA history. He averages about 22. Then there is Draymond Green who also can go off defensively and offensively at any minute. The Peli's have Anthony Davis, the 'Incredi-Brow', or even 'Impossi-Brow' or just Ant. Anthony Davis is a monster in every way, huge and has a dynamic scoring ability averaging 24.4 ppg, 10.2 rpg, and about 3 blocks per game. But the Brow doesn't get much help from anyone on his team but Tyreke Evans, so there isn't much of a chance for the Peli's.
Golden State Wins 4-0.
2. Houston Rockets VS 7. Dallas Mavericks:
It's the battle of Texas and everything truly is bigger, much bigger. The Beard versus the German Giraffe and Co. It's set to be good. First let's analyze the Rockets. The Rockets are lead by an MVP caliber player in James Harden, otherwise known as 'The Beard', he averages 27.4 ppg, 7 apg, 5.7 rpg, great numbers for a monster scorer. Houston also has Patrick Beverly the Skill-Master, as demonstrated on All-Star weekend, but he is out and expected to be back by the 20th, he averages 10.1 ppg, 3.4 apg and 4.2 rpg, good stats. I'm watching the 'Daredevil' series on Netflix and it's pretty cool, RECOMMENDED. Monta Ellis averages 18 ppg with the Mavericks and Dirk averages 17 ppg, Tyson Chandler also has 10 points and 11 rebound every game, a human double-double. Dallas is efficient and they play better in the playoffs taking the #1 Spurs to 7 games last year, they'll have no trouble posing a fight in this one, in all the Rockets are better though.
Rockets Wins 4-2.
3. Los Angeles Clippers VS 6. San Antonio Spurs:
This series might be the 3rd best in the playoffs, at least in the first round, the Spurs are really good, and they were on an 11-game winning streak before the loss 2 days ago. The Clippers are on a 7 game winning streak and are 9-1 in the last ten, safe to say they are excelling. Blake Griffin leads the team with 22 ppg, and 7.6 rpg. Chris Paul also has a great gift with assists, an overall great point guard, with 19 ppg and 10.2 apg. DeAndre Jordan helps them in the paint though, great rebounder and good with layups. DeAndre will probably be out the 4th quarter, or half of it due to the hack-a-Jordan rule. They are playing the trademark extremely efficient basketball, Tim Duncan keeps getting younger, but also older which is weird, but the best I can explain it. The Claw is also great, Kawhi is the same LeBron stopper he always was, except with better shot, and he will take the Spurs far, again.
San Antonio Wins 4-3.
4. Portland Trailblazers VS 5. Memphis Grizzlies:
Alas my brotha, KSP has to make a tough decision here, two great teams in the 2nd best match-up of the first round, the Blazers have Damian Lillard, who is a great player, 20 points and 6 assists every game, LaMarcus Aldridge is also back with 24 points and 10 rebounds, this was the same guy who lit up the first-round last year, scoring 40+ in two games, he cannot repeat that but he can still perform well. The Grizzlies have an extremely underrated PG in Mike Conley, a vet who can lead a team, a team of hustling big-men, Zach Randolph and Marc Gasol who can combine as a great duo as post players, they will dominate the paint. That will not be the deal-breaker this season though, the Blazers will dominate the three-point area, scoring a whole lot there. Jeff Green will also come into the scene, I bet he will steal the show in this series, but it won't be enough to beat the Blazers, who will win in 7 by 3.
Blazers Win 4-3.
Eastern Conf-.....zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.....
1. Atlanta Hawks VS 8. Brooklyn Nets, wait what? they are 38-44, DAMN YOU NBA.
The Atlanta Hawks have the 2nd best record with a team of good players, very good players, I have written a whole article about them, they have Teague, Horford, Carroll, and Millsap, they beat the Warriors, the Nets lost to the Bulls by like 25 points 2 times. Why am I writing, eat Smuckers.
Hawks Win 4-0.
2. Cleveland Cavaliers VS 7. Boston:
Boston made a late push to the playoffs, lead by the witty Brad Stevens, a bunch of young guys sparting it out against a legend, an All-Star, and an All-Star who will definitely not be in Cleveland next year. Hopefully you know who I'm talking about, LeBron averages 25.3 ppg, 7.4 assists, and 1.6 steals, leading almost every category on his team. Kyrie Irving also is doing great with 21 points and 5 assists, and he can score like crazy, he drives really fast and he can also hit you with a jumper. Kevin Love is also a good shooter, but the Cavs made him get in the post more, ruining his flow, get back on those jumpers man! If Boston can notch a win it will be because of Tyler Zeller who averages 19 ppg, and 5.7 rpg, but without Jared Sullinger, they would be no where, he keeps them together with 18 ppg, and about 7 rpg, he can score better than anyone else and he will be the key if Boston would try to make a move, they know how to play the Cavs too, 2-2 in the season series. Killing them by 39 in their last match-up, even though the Cavs were resting their good players for most of the game.
Cavs Win 4-1.
3. Chicago Bulls VS 6. Milwaukee Bucks:
WOOOH 3RD SEED! The Bulls can beat the Bucks by using Jimmy Butler's slash-drive technique, he drives, then he either scores, gets two free-throws, or gets an and-1 play. Tony Snell can shoot better and better he can heat up and be the X-factor for the Bulls. Nikola Mirotic is a total boss too, when he starts to score, he heats up and close the game out for us, good ol' (young) Niko! If the Bucks can do anything against us it will be because of the 'Greek Freak', yes I, KSP, will finally be able to see the Greek Freak!, Giannis Antetokounmpo, I don't need no copy and paste to write that, he is that good. We, Bulls fans will have the honor to win and see the Greek Freak in a form we haven't seen before, the Playoff form, I am so excited. Rose + Noah + Gasol +Butler + Niko + Gibson + Brooks= Happy me.
Bulls Win 4-0.
4. Toronto Raptors VS 5. Washington Wizards:
The Raptors are very good, great at shooting and in the post. The Wizards have been down for a bit, most of the half of the season, none of their players are getting better and they are getting sore it seems. The Raptors are best when DeMar DeRozan plays best, he averages 20 ppg, and 5 rpg, good numbers but he is downright dangerous when driving and he can score like a madman. The Wiz are great when John Wall plays spectacular, but he hasn't lately and the Wiz aren't as good. Wall averages 18 ppg and 10 apg, great numbers for a guard, they need a little more from Beal if they were to win this, he needs to breakout his jumper, which is nearly perfect. I'm ready for a fun series.
Toronto Wins 4-2.
DONE THANK YOU LISTEN TO THIS WHILE ITS STILL FRIDAY!
