Heat vs Spurs Finals Gm 1 analysis
A lot happened in the first game of the NBA Finals let's start with SA 1 seed in the West and Miami 2 seed in the East, same finals as lat year with San Antonio looking for revenge after last years game 7 loss. Around 5 minutes into the first the broadcasters realized it was hotter than usual in the arena, fans noticed it too and they asked each other what happened to the A/C. "It Broke" said Jeff Van Gundy and when a note was given from the AT&T Stadium manager that their A/C broke and they are sorry for the inconvenience. Meanwhile it was an up and down game until the third quarter when Miami started catching fire after halftime and the Spurs started trailing by 5 or 7. Then Doris Burke during her court side interview put a thermometer down on the hardwood and it reached up to 90 Degrees F an insane temperature which reminded Heat PF/C Chris Bosh of his High school with no air conditioning. In the Fourth tragedy struck for the rich people of Miami, LeBron started having cramps because of the insane heat and requested a break every 3 minutes, soon after at the 5 minute mark James couldn't even run the court and needed to be picked up by an athletic trainer and James Jones to get to the bench he looked so tired and the broadcaster Van Gundy even said "I've never seen him so tired before" and he's been looking at his play since his rookie season. So with 3:59 left in the fourth LeBron left and the Spurs dominated, even with a whopping 23 turnovers at that point. Then, Danny Green happened with 11 points in those 4 minutes since LeBron James left and the Spurs got to a 110-95 win taking the 1-0 lead. "It would've been a blowout if the Spurs didn't have 23 turnovers" remarked Skip Bayless on First Take and it is true the A/C broke and the Spurs won (without much production from Kawhi Leonard) leading to a conclusion, the Miami Heat can't take the HEAT. --KSP--
