The king was the story in this game, how was LeBron James gonna play after his game 1 cramps and exhaustion? He erupted with 35 points and 10 rebounds in the 98-96 win. At first the Spurs were in control leading by a much as seven through the first half. LeBron James was questionable in the first quarter with only 2 points leading many people, including me that he wasn't going to heat up during most of the series. With a few minutes left in the second quarter Miami went on a run and tied it at the half 43-43. In the 3rd both teams started okay Miami scored 34 with Lebron exploding dunks, 3 ponters he made it all and proved everyone wrong of what I had just wrote a few sentences ago in that quarter and San Antonio scored 35 with a one point lead to close out the 3rd quarter. San Antonio was great at the start of the quarter but Tony Parker
was elbowed in the ribs by Mario Chalmers which led to a flagrant foul when the Spurs were up by 5, unfortunately to the devoted Spurs fans in all went downhill from there. Miami went on a little scoring run, the Spurs missed some shots and it was over... 98-96 Miami won. I know what your thinking, what the @#$% happened so that the Spurs who were on a roll to lose, the answer, Shaq's weakness, the Bulls season ender, the Spurs lost because of missed free-throws. At one point with less than 4 minutes to go the Spurs missed 4 straight free throws ending at 16 for 21 at the line. I bet Coach Pop will make them take 1000 free-throws so that can't happen again. They couldn't stop the King.
