News and Stuff...

Alright so a whole lot of trades happened yesterday this is how I think of it:
The Minnesota Timberwolves trade Thaddeus Young to the Brooklyn Nets for Kevin Garnett. Kevin Garnett is aging rapidly it seems, feels like the last time he was in minnesota it was like 25 years ago. I wonder how the fans will react to a hero coming back, it's not like Cleveland who immediately became a title front-runner as soon as they got their home-town hero back. Minnesota is very bad and will likely play KG less than young think, just because he is a bit older than everyone else, but still he will make an emotional (but not an effective) impact. Thad is a pretty good player, solid as a whole, he has an 14.3 PPG, 2.8 APG, 5.1 RPG average this season.
Goran Dragic was traded to Miami along with his brother Zoran. Goran will make a big impact for Miami who will now have a great slash and cut PG. Phoenix acquired Danny Grager from Miami and John Salmons from the Pelicans. Granger is a role-player who averages 6.3 PPG, and 2.7 RPG, he will be a great fit for Phoenix who is aiming to get deeper. The Pelicans got Norris Cole from Miami he is an exciting player who can shine with his quickness and is also a good come-off-the-bench player.
Before you read this please take a few stress relievers. Alright so you know how good the Bucks are doing right? They're doing very well and they are over .500. Their best player is Brandon Knight and he averages 17.8 PPG, 5.4 APG, and 1.6 STL. That is great! But the Bucks made a move that had me like:

They traded a 41% 3-point shooter in Brandon Knight for Michael Carter-Williams the 76er who shoots 33% from behind the arch. He is also only a 50% finisher near the basket. MCW averages 15 PPG, 7.4 APG, 6.2 RPG, which is worse than Knight. The Bucks also lose Kendall Marshall, the Greek Freak's best buddy to Phoenix which is bad for the morale. MCW also tends shoots more so we will have to see how the team handles it. I hope the Bucks made the right decision getting MCW, Tyler Ennis, and Miles Plumlee.
I'm trying not to end this on a sad note so lets go to the Thunder trade.
Detroit acquires: PG Reggie Jackson (from Thunder)
Oklahoma City acquires: C Enes Kanter (from Jazz), SF Steve Novak (from Jazz), PG D.J. Augustin (from Pistons), SF Kyle Singler (from Pistons)
Utah acquires: Kendrick Perkins (from Thunder), PF Grant Jerrett (from Thunder), rights to Tibor Pleiss, draft picks. OKC got a great player in Enes Kanter, and  great back-up in D.J. Augustin. Utah got some veteran spirit from Kendrick Perkins, and Detroit got the explosive Reggie Jackson.
But the real team which won at the deadline was Houston. Houston got the monster in K.J. McDaniels, who is a freaking monster in defense and offense, blocking and dunking is his calling. Houston now has the best exciting player in the league.
