The Warriors beat the Spurs-
Late on this, I know, but the Warriors absolutely destroyed the San Antonio Spurs, while Curry, still celebrating, did the unthinkable. He crosssed Kawhi Leonard, toughest defender in the league, causing him to slip on the floor while Steph hit the silky-smoothe J. it was something to be seen, the Warriors, on a path to notch the best record in NBA history, seem unstoppable. The Spurs, who beat the Warriors to the #1 rank in the NBA power rankings last week, now do not have an answer to the 30 point loss they suffered against this great Warriors team. Which raises the question, what if the become too good? Will the NBA thrive off their jersey and ticket sales, or will they find a way to help the bad team to compete better with the good teams. Now that the East is strong, unlike last year, will the results change? So I guess time will tell what we can do when a team becomes too good, other than figure out how to strategically beat them, which the Bucks pulled off about a month ago. Anyways time will tell, and Curry is still thriving off that success.
DeMarcus Cousins cannot be stopped-
Cousins, already known as the tenacious All-Star center that plays for the Sacramento Kings, has been getting way better than we possibly could've thought. While the Warriors are taking the NBA by storm, Cousins has silently been putting up a gigantic effort to push his Kings to a better position in the Western Conference before the Playoffs. Against the Hornets, a game which everyone ignored because pf the Warriors-Spurs game, he put up a whopping 56 Pts, 12 Reb, 4 Ast, 1 Stl, and 2 Blk. Wow. He dominated everyone coming against him in that game, even though his team (Staying filled with young potential) could not come through for him. Cousins has been averaging 33.1 PPG and 12.4 RPG the last 10 games, that's a double-double and a 30 point club average. Hope his team starts to help him, because this colossal effort should not be overshadowed by the feats of other better, but not as lovable NBA teams.
Kanye West change his album Title again (A rare appearance from Earl Sweatshirt too)-
Oh Yeezy, before getting into a fight with Wiz Khalifa, this morning, he changed his album title from 'SWISH' to 'WAVES', 'SWISH' which was his first name change after changing it from 'So Help Me God'. Although he warned us last May that he might change the album name later, that tweet was old enough that we forgot about it, so he surprised us with this name change. Honestly, I liked the 'So Help Me God' title the best, but it's whatever I guess. The big new is that Earl Sweatshirt, A$AP Rocky, and Chance the Rapper will be on the album. As well as some help from Swizz Beats. Earl Sweatshirt comes as a surprise, because the public is not necessarily into his new slow flow, and his darker and deeper lyrics. So the public doesn't like him, although Kendrick Lamar said Earl was his favorite artist, and Chance the Rapper said he dreams of working with him. So that Kanye, Yeezus himself, is putting Earl on his most enthralling album to date, is pretty interesting. Here's the tracklist with some artist names. Kendrick was also in his new song 'No More Parties in LA', and Kanye looked fresh in my personal favorite, 'Real Friends' featuring Ty Dolla $ign.

A Tale of Two Teams
The Warriors are now the 2nd best team in the league, behind the Spurs. A team that they will be tested against Monday, in what is sure to be one of the best games this season. The Warriors are 39-4 so far, well on their way to notching one of the best, if not the best record in NBA history. They did it all with assistant coach Luke Walton, a coach which was the right hand man to Steve Kerr, and he was the perfect fill-in for the injured coach. They went on to start with the best opening win streak ever, and practically automatically became one of the best teams ever. Now, Steve Kerr is back, after a lowly last few games for the Warriors, which gathered up the most of those 4 losses, he has some back to save the day, helping the Warriors destroy the Bulls 125-94, where the Bulls played good basketball, but the Warriors played great basketball, and because of their power, with the threat that is Steph Curry, on his way to becoming the best shooter in NBA history, and Draymond Green, that at any moment that you overlook him, can single-handedly break up your team. So the Warriors have their coach back, and are getting better, which is really, really scary.
Meanwhile in the land that is Cleveland, LeBron is getting sadder, because he may never have a chance to get that elusive championship trophy for his hometown. Because the Warriors are looking scary, and if its not the warriors that'll get them, it'll be the Spurs, who are once again, slowly performing surgery on the teams they face, by playing their classic basketball. Kawhi Leonard finally got his starting All-Star spot, a guy that is averaging 20 ppg, 2.6 apg, and 6.9 rpg, all while playing that tremendous defense he is now known for, he is the player that every player is at a disadvantage to be playing against, even the likes of LeBron James, who he contained in 1 (almost 2) NBA Finals. Doing this all while hitting all his 3 pointers, with the second best 3 point FG percentage in the league, with .478% 3-pt FG, behind J.J. Redick. So its looking very, very good for the Spurs and Leonard. But Cleveland, who just now fired their coach, David Blatt, who wasn't going to last long anyway, presumably because LeBron didn;t want him, and LeBron is basically the coach and GM of the Cavs, and would be if that was allowed in the League. Now Tyronn Lue, who is famous forall the wrong reasons when his ankles were broken by The Answer.

But the Cavs now have to prove they still got it after losing their coach, and now, losing to the bulls 81-69 with 5 minutes left in the 4th Quarter, has to prove to the media, the fans (who booed the Cavs earlier in the game), and themselves, that they still have time to become the premier threat of the Eastern Conference, while the Raptors, scary as ever, are on a 7 game winning-streak. Prove it, Cleveland.

Damian Lillard's Rap career?
Damian Lillard, well known PG for the Portland Trailblazers, and definitely one of the best in the league, Top-5, has been doing more than just carrrying the now lowly Blazers team. He has a well running rap career. As well as being an aspiring journalist, Damian, known as Dame D.O.L.L.A. at the mic, can actually rap. REALLY WELL. If he wasn't an NBA player he would definitely be a rapper, and be signed to a good label. Because he can actually spit. First verse on the song 'Bigger Than Us' is actually very well written and very well performed. Plus he sounds a little like the old Wiz Khalifa mixed with CJ Fly. So definitely check this out -
Spurs #1
The Spurs finally ended the warriors streak of being #1 on the NBA power rankings, beating the Warriors to the top spot this edition. They are playing magnificently and are playing as good and as solid as any team can possibly play at their best right now, on a regular basis. After an embarrassing loss to the Knicks a few weeks ago, they stepped up and started to dominate. I'm rooting for them in the Western Conference.
Gigantic Giannis
Giannis Antetokounmpo has been quiet since unleashing into the next-big-thing NBA scene last year, but this rim shaking dunk over highly touted Hassan Whiteside was very impressive.
Porzingod
Kristaps is 4th in jersey sales this year. He was booed on draft-day. Now he is 4th in jersey sales. Behind Steph Curry, LeBron, and Kobe. Ahead of rose, and Jimmy Butler.
