Lowry shines as the Raptors win - 5-23/24

The Raptors vs Cavs series may be the less interesting Conference Finals match-up, but new story-lines are surfacing, and the past 2 games have been fought hard. After Cleveland easily won the first two games over the Raptors, people thought that this series was pretty much over. Hell, I predicted that the Raptors would win at least one game but after their performances I stopped thinking that, and my thoughts of the Raptors being a good team were also slowly dying. But the Raptors actually started playing gritty, and real basketball, and they managed to beat the Cavs in Maple Syrup land.
Now with the hope from the past game, Lowry and DeRozan played even harder this game, combining for 67 points, Lowry scoring 35 of those, DeRozan with 32. Lowry has now been solidifying his All-Star status, which was thought of by some as a good player that the Canadian NBA audience really liked. He has been playing pretty average this postseason, but he finally stepped it up this game, and thank God he did because Toronto has needed him. The problem with the Raptors is that they have not been good away in these playoffs, 2-6 combined. How did they get this far with that record? Just because the crowd in Toronto is so energetic and filled with loyal fans that the fan-power alone powers the players up. It's also the fact that Drake is like 20 feet away from you at all times.
This series has been pretty boring, even the problems with players kicking eachother weren't enough to make this series anything interesting in my opinion. Canadians are the greatest people though, just very nice people, too nice at times. Some lady forgot her wallet in Canada while flying home, and not only did a Canadian couple send it back to her, they enclosed souvenirs in the package. Great people, boring basketball.
