15 days til' 2015-16 NBA Tip-Off

Good raps keep me sane in the membrane.
Math tests bless my mind with a mess.

Kemba Walker- Charlotte Hornets- Stats-
17.3 PPG, 5.1 AST, 1.4 STL.
The best joke I could come up with is "he can ShaKEMBAke fools" (Word-play to Shake and Bake)

Kemba, Kemba, Kemba. The last two years I think I did DeMarcus Cousins for this Tip-Off day, so now I have to write up something new. Kemba Walker is a understandably underrated player that plays for the hapless Charlotte Hornets. He is underrated because this guy can score, and own the offensive game for his team but his team just isn't very amusing. This dude is really quick and agile too, and he uses that to the best of his ability when he pulls up a jumper or drives into the lane. Not many people know him because he is on the Hornets, a team which missed the playoffs because they lost 6 consecutive games prior to the playoffs starting. I feel like if this guy played on a good team like the Spurs he would get immediate recognition because of his ability to score well and adjust to any type of teammates he is presented with. If he played on the Spurs he could be a scoring duo when he and Danny Green are on the court, making headlines as a duo coming up from the bench to provide that extra punch. Kemba can also play well with NBA vet Al Jefferson, who can score at ease (16.6 PPG, 8.4 REB, 1.3 BLK), they are a great do that scores the most for their team along with the efforts of the talented Gerald Henderson. But then there is the curse that is on Charlotte, a seemingly boring NBA team with blossoming talent that just can't find a way to break into the 'glitz and glamour' of the NBA headlines that run on the popular sports shows like SportsNation or DLHQ. Kemba can help them score and play average for the season, but NBA teams need that extra media recognition to perform well, or else the players are just doing it for the city that supports them, or for the money that financially supports them. Only the people in Charlotte care to see Kemba Walker play, basketball fanatics also want to see him play, but the media won't budge. Fortunately Jordan Brand just inked Kemba up with a sneaker deal so maybe that will help a little. But we just can't see his or the Hornets' full potential because the media doesn't give them that extra push.

(BELOW- Kemba breaks Chris Paul's ankles.)
