Second of all, genuine good-guy Jerry West, one of the greatest players of all time, and the logo that practically represents basketball says that he would love for the NBA logo to be Michael Jordan. They are definitely not changing the logo but this gives us a view of how nice Jerry West is, you don't have to be defending yourself when you are not the best player yet are the logo, you could argue that the logo shouldn't be changed because it has been the same for many years, but no, Jerry West would be okay with it, knowing the impact he made for the league to develop satisfies him the most. Just because of this they should just make a rule to keep the logo the same, we need an impactful, good-guy type of player to be the logo, and West just fits the categories perfectly.
Tristan Thompson agrees to five-year, $82 million deal with Cavs, Thompson is a very good inside shooter and defender, and he is just the type of player the Cavs need to go to that next level. It is a great decision to sign him. This gives less and less hope for my Bulls though, Thompson was the decision maker in two games of that series, so we have even less of a chance to beat them unless new head coach Fred Hoiberg somehow gets Bobby Portis to step up like he has in the Pre-season.
Joakim Noah, Bulls defensive leader and emotional supporter, will reportedly come off the bench for the Bulls. Well this is a surprise because Noah is our team's leader when Derrick Rose is not on the court, heck, he is our leader when Rose is on the court, he riles up the fans and plays with guts. It just sucks that injuries have gotten him to come off the bench when he was in MVP contention 2 years ago, back when he notched a triple-double with points, rebounds, and BLOCKS. He was a beast that season, and hopefully he will provide just enough to make our team even better coming off the bench.
Lamar Odom woke up from his coma, after he fell unconscious and was found at a Nevada brothel last week. When he opened his eyes he reportedly just wanted to see his kids. His (almost) Ex-Wife Khloe Kardashian spoke up for the first time about her (Almost) Ex-Husband, and said thanks to the supporters and that he will now undergo rehabilitation and is breathing on his own. They are almost exes because Khloe reportedly trashed the divorce papers, so they are still technically married. Lmar is now steadily improving and he might get back together with his wife so all is good in Laker Land.
I've also reached a new low in reporting about a Kardashian in my blog, I am SO sorry.
