The reigning Champion San Antonio Spurs lost against the Clippers of Los Angeles yesterday, I was in Chicago watching it at a Pizzeria. I watched in horror as the Spurs blew a 6 point lead with 2 minutes to go. They didn't even get a chance to use the controversial 'Hack-a-DJ' technique. Chris Paul hit a running floater over many Spurs in the last few seconds, showing he was still a great point-guard, while injured. He hobbled out in the 1st quarter, but came back in later in the game, with great applause. What I'm going to miss most for the rest of the Playoffs is Kawhi Leonard. The Spurs whole team is great, I'm going to miss all of them too, but Kawhi's expression-less face and highly competitive play made him a great part, and important part, of last year's Playoffs. It doesn't seem right with the Playoff mainstay that is San Antonio be out so early.
The Bulls totally blew out the Bucks, 120-66, in the Playoffs. This is the 3rd largest playoff loss in NBA history, behind a 56 point win in 1973 and two 58 point wins, the last being in 2009. 54 points is an insane margin of victory, it is the largest in Bulls Playoff history, for sure. It happened because the Bulls got off to a fast start, a great start, the Bucks were already down 34-16 in the first quarter, in the second quarter my 2nd favorite player, Giannis Antetokounmpo, hit Mike Dunleavy after he shot a 3-pointer, Mike Dunleavy fell over, he got hit in the stomach intentionally. The Bucks were mad at that point. Giannis was ejected, and Thibs kept the Starters in through the 3rd quarter, leading 91-52, by the end of it. The Bulls took it personally, and killed the Bucks. Finally.
