The Return of College Basketball

There was an insane amount of games on today, not NBA, but college basketball, and as of 5:15 Central Time I am awaiting #4 Duke vs #19 Michigan State and #1 Kentucky vs #5 Kansas huge matchups. There have also been other great games on such as #11 Wichita State vs Memphis, it was cool seeing a team that was undefeated last year, seeing Van Vleet and Baker, but it feels open without Cleathony Early (who the Knicks should be playing, and the Bulls should have drafted if they could) he used to have such a great presence on the court. The Shockers beat the Memphis Tigers 71-56.
The San Diego State Aztecs who are #16 went up against #25 Utah. The Utes were sleepy at first, letting the Aztecs build up a lead. It got interesting with 58 seconds left though. After being down by 10 the Utes hit a layup, a 3 pointer , another (contested) 3 pointer, and all of a sudden after some free-throws the cut the lead down to 3 with 10 seconds left. In the end the Aztecs held on because of a double-dribble by a Utah player. Aztecs won 53-49.
The other teams playing tonight also have stacked rosters, Duke having 9 McDonalds All-Americans most notably Jahlil Okafor, the electrifying big man with a long wingsan, and Tyus Jones the #4 ranked player. Kentucky has 4 arriving All-Americans such as Karl-Anthony Towns, Trey Lyles, Devin Booker, and Tyler Ulis. Kansas also has Kelly Oubre and Cliff Alexander coming in who were All-American's. But don't get your hopes up anybody, anything can happen come March, like Mercer beating Duke last year.
