"We've been ASSASSINATED!"said the commentator after a kid threw a water bottle at the ref but missed hitting the desk where they were. I ,of course, am watching the Bulls game and this happened 1 minute ago. The Bulls had just missed a chance at making it a one point game with like 15 seconds left. They lost now, but Aaron Brooks had put on a Nate Robinson performance carrying the Bulls over a 15 point deficit, having great defensive plays with 3 straight turnovers. This is all in the fourth quarter too, I had to do some errands and eat with my dad so I missed the first 3 quarters. Aaron Brooks also had a clutch 3 and a clutch hook shot to make it exciting again. It's always the 3rd backup for the Bulls, Nate Robinson being the 3rd backup when he put on a legendary show against Brooklyn 2 years ago, still my favorite basketball game I've ever seen, and Aaron Brooks was showing signs as Nate, I was also saying that to my dad before the commentators noticed that. This was a good game, but an upset. The Bulls should just keep it up, but tonight was just unlucky because they didn't defend well unlike the Bulls I know and love.
The Pelicans are beating the Spurs 98 to 94 with around 2 minutes left, Kawhi Leonard was making a good play, and Anthony Davis is doing good as usual. The Spurs almost had a Danny Green 3 but they ran out of time on the shot-clock, it was a perfect chance for Diaw to drive in and try to get a foul or a layup. I have to say the Spurs camo jersies are pretty cool. Cory Joseph gets a foul, missed communications flying around and the Spurs are trying to get points. BANG! Kawhi Leonard hits a wide-open jumper, Spurs get the ball again and a foul is called. This is the fourth quarter by the way, 22 seconds left, trying to overcome a 10 point deficit. Danny Green is fouled behind the 3-point line, getting the foot back behind the line. They review it and 3 free-throws for Greenie. Hits the first, then the second, tied at 98, and the third, 99-98 Spurs, BABY! The Pelicans take a time out. The Pelican's have good players. The Pelicans get the lead back with a shot from Davis. Kawhi tries for the clutch but it just rolls off, shame, it was a good game though. New Orleans is legit with Davis, Tyreke Evans, Eric Gordon and Jrue Holiday. Pelicans: 100 Spurs: 99.
